Schedule a Ride With Us

Souris Basin Transportation provides curb-to-curb service.

Rides must be scheduled by 2:00 pm the day before the ride is needed, between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday - Friday. Reservations for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday should be made by 2:00 pm the preceding Friday. Reservations can be made during regular office hours by calling (701) 581-1049. The main dispatch telephone is equipped with North Dakota Text Telephone Relay Service for the hearing impaired. Any cancellation must be at least one hour prior to your pickup time or you will be charged for a no-show.

Routes do fill up so schedule early. If the system is full, the dispatchers will inform you of the situation when you call and your reservation will not be accepted. You may reserve rides up to seven days in advance.

We pick up many riders, so our scheduling process maximizes routes. In regards to when you need to be at an appointment at a certain time, you may need to ride the bus as other passengers are picked up on the way to your drop-off location. If you plan to make several stops, please schedule all of them at the time you make your initial reservation. This will help the driver stay on schedule and prevent other passengers from being late for their appointments.

Passengers using an assistance device (such as a wheelchair or walker) are requested to inform the dispatcher of such in order for the driver to better prepare and assist passengers. Whether a rider utilizes a wheelchair or other assistive device, the size of the wheelchair, and whether a rider is ambulatory or non-ambulatory may determine if a van or bus is used.

When the schedule is completed, the riders will be notified of their times of pick up by fax or phone. When making a reservation, ensure the correct number is listed to call you back with the times of the rides.
